By choosing meat quality as our most important trait, we sometimes give up other factors like growth performance. Our pork combines the Duroc line with the best genetic lines from around the world, resulting in the “Angus of Pork.” It may take a bit longer for our pigs to grow, but it is worth it to provide you with meat you want to eat again and again.

Stress on the pig can result in poor meat quality and every effort is made in reducing stress. Workers are trained to handle the pigs gently. Our genetics are free from the “stress-gene”. The floors and walkways are non-slip so the pigs can move easily. The farms are close to the processing plant so transport distances are short. 

Our processing plant uses ultra cold air circulated at a high velocity to safely cool meat to target temperatures. “Air chilling” results in better tasting meat, resource conservation, and safety against contamination. Because our facilities are quite small by industry standards, we have more time to work on each cut of meat. 

By faithfully targeting factors at the farm, during transport, and at the processing plant, we are uniquely capable of providing the highest quality pork at the best value.
